On this day in gaming, Tomb Raider Legend was released in 2006. It was hailed as the return of Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series, after the rather dismal Angel of Darkness and the average ones between Tomb Raider 3 and Chronicles.
It was also the first game by the new developer Crystal Dynamics, with Anniversary and Underworld following it.
