Gears of War 3 in 2011? Maybe not…

There’s been a lot of excitement over a rumour that started off with Edge, that suggests that a new Gears of War, no doubt Gears of War 3, is in development, and will be released on April 8, 2011.

And an announcement regarding this is said to be dropping on April 8, 2010 – this year.

However, VG247 happened to contact Epic - Mark Rein in fact - for confirmation on this, and got this response:

“You’re kidding, right?”

I guess so. It was just a rumour after all…
