Al Lowe's Birthday Today

Today is Al Lowe's Birthday. He turns 63.

Al Lowe is mainly known for his Leisure Suit Larry series, telling the tale of lovable loser, Larry Laffer, although he was involved with other games too. He is also a musician, having played the saxophone since he was young.

Al Lowe himself says he's glad he isn't involved with Leisure Suit Larry anymore, after the last two games, Magna Cum Laude and Box Office Bust were total bombs.

Al Lowe supposedly retired from the game industry back in the late 90s after several years, but tried to make a comeback by developing a game known as Sam Suede: Undercover Exposure, but iBase, the developer, couldn't find a publisher, and the company went under.

Nowadays, Al can be found at his site, allowe.com, still spreading hilarity and making people laugh.

What does AAA stand for?

It's not an abbreviation of anything. It just means the best of the best...
