Apocalypse Then- SiN Episodes: Emergence

May 10 Mother's Day (holiday)

On this day in gaming, in 2006, SiN Episodes: Emergence was released.

It was the first (and only to date) of a planned nine episodes of episodic released games to continue the story of the original game, SiN. SiN Episodes: Emergence was the first computer game by a major developer to both be produced episodically and delivered over the Internet without the intervention of a publisher, by using Steam.

There will likely be no continuation of the series due to the sale of Ritual, the developer, to MumboJumbo, and the departure of several key employees, including the lead programmer, which all took place years ago.

What does AAA stand for?

It's not an abbreviation of anything. It just means the best of the best...
