Michael Jackson Helped With Sonic 3’s Soundtrack

It’s been a long standing myth that Michael Jackson, while still alive, helped do some composing on Sonic 3’s soundtrack, but just like in the famous episode of The Simpsons, “Stark Raving Dad”, he chose to not have his name credited. This is what a fellow musician, Brad Buxer says.

"And if he is not credited for composing the music, it's because he was not happy with the result sound coming out of the console. At the time, game consoles did not allow an optimal sound reproduction, and Michael found it frustrating. He did not want to be associated with a product that devalued his music.”

People often thought that Michael was the inspiration for the Sonic the Hedgehog character as well because of the white gloves, one of which sold recently for a few hundred thousand pounds. He apparently has close ties with SEGA.

Ken Horowitz of Sega-16.com however says that Buxer’s claims are unfounded.

Now, I don’t know about Sonic, seeing as I only ever played one of those games in my time but I’ll tell you something. I’ve often thought that work inspired by his music cropped up elsewhere as well. The song “Billy Jean” for instance – I’m quite convinced that part of this song inspired one of the tracks for Rise of the Triad, a shooter long forgotten, but now facing a reboot.

Maybe Lee Jackson, the guy who was credited with doing most of the soundtrack, was actually Michael Jackson. Hmmm…and so a new mystery begins.

Did Altair from Assassin’s Creed rip off Michael Jackson?

Some people have suggested recently that Ezio from Assassin’s Creed 2 looks like a backup dancer for Prince.

Now I have looked at a picture of Michael Jackson on the front page of the Sunday Times this past weekend, and I couldn’t help but think- that looks like Altair, or rather, Altair looks like Michael Jackson.

Take a look at this picture. Look the grey trousers, and the white shirt, and then take a peek at Altair. Then look at the BOOTS!

Michael Jackson has Passed Away

Michael-jackson-vector-2I learned this morning that Michael Jackson, the king of pop, died yesterday. He was 50. The official cause of death still has to be determined, but some claim it was a heart attack. His family however, claims it was due to an overdose on Demerol.

Jackson led a life plagued with difficulties, including being diagnosed with vitiligo, a skin disease, as well as lupus. He underwent numerous surgeries on his face, and was rumoured to have suffered from anorexia nervosa. And not to mention the allegations of being a child-molester.

Michael is well known for having received the nickname of "Wacko Jacko" from cruel journalists.

Apart from all the jokes about Michael Jackson, the person, one can't deny that he was definitely an incredible performer, and such a big influence on music.

People are saying that a star from the 80s, an icon, has faded, once and for all.sad
