The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena Coming to the Mac This Week

Assault_on_Dark_Athena The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena came out about a year and a week ago on PC and other consoles. I played through it, and although there were some new enemies and weapons, and although it wasn’t a bad game, to many it didn’t live up to the success of Escape From Butcher Bay, released in 2004, which is considered on of the best movie-inspired video game adaptations of all time.

Luckily, that game was included with Assault on Dark Athena, except it was a remastered, updated version. That was the main aim of the project. AoDA, labelled as a sequel, was really just an afterthought.

Now a year later, and it’s been reported that The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is coming to the Mac, and it’s this week: Friday, April 16th to be exact. It seemingly just snuck up on everyone.

By the way, if you find the game to be too dark, then you should try switching to Riddick’s eyeshine mode, or vision augmentation.

What does AAA stand for?

It's not an abbreviation of anything. It just means the best of the best...
