Darkest of Days Movie on the way

screenshot164 I found this interesting. Darkest of Days was a game that looked as though it would have been pretty good. It had promise. It had good ideas. But the final product was just not as good as I imagined. I even played the demo and did a Demo-lition feature on it a while back.

Problems with the game included poor AI, average graphics, poor framerate, substandard voice acting (apart from Dexter) – the list goes on. If you want to read all the problems with it, then you can just google for the reviews. They were mostly all negative.

But now it’s said that Douglas Cook and David Weisberg, the guys behind The Rock, which starred Sean Connery, Ed Harris, and Nicolas Cage and took place on Alcatraz, are scripting for a movie based on the game.

Now we all know that it’s a rare thing for movies based on games to end up being good, and vice versa, but I don’t know what it is. Darkest of Days does have that movie feel or appeal to it. Maybe it didn’t work as a game, but it might do better as a film.

What does AAA stand for?

It's not an abbreviation of anything. It just means the best of the best...
