Worker's Day (holiday)On this day in gaming, in 2002, Morrowind was released. It is the third major game in the Elder Scrolls series by Bethesda, and used the Gamebryo engine which is still used by games today, like Oblivion and Fallout 3, among many others.
There were two expansions for it, Bloodmoon and Tribunal, one of which introduced the player to the Dark Brotherhood, the opposition to the Morag Tong, which was further enlarged upon in Oblivion, the game’s sequel.
