I discovered this on the latest NAG Cover DVD, and promptly visited the website for it.“DOOM: FoM is an RPG set in the classic world of Doom. You will fight many demons through the UAC facilities on the moons of Mars to the depths of Hell.”
The game clearly tries to emulate Diablo or similar games. It's still got a long way to go, seeing as it's only the Beta 0.1.0a version.
It’s actually kind of a cool idea seeing as I wanted to play Doom RPG, but it’s for cellphones only. I had plans to develop a similar game at one point. I was going to call it Doom: Necrology or something. Necrology means a list of deaths or an obituary notice. It was a play on words, seeing as some games have a trilogy, like Mortal Kombat Trilogy, and the classic Doom games have Ultimate Doom, Doom II: Hell on Earth, and Final Doom, and so, three games- you get the idea.
